Maybe you often feel overwhelmed, worn out, or like you're running on empty. Life is full of ups and downs and sometimes those low points just seem to go on and on. Whether this is a new feeling for you or it's an old, unwanted friend, you don't have to face it alone. If feelings of shame or worry about being a burden have kept you from seeking help in the past, know that you are God's creation and are deserving of receiving help.
I believe everyone has inherent worth, no matter what they’ve survived or what they’ve done. I’m here not to provide judgment, but to help heal with welcoming and sympathetic treatment. My goal is to extend Christ-like compassion to others, in the way Jesus has extended it to me.
KATE CRAWFORD, LPC
Kate Crawford, LPC, acquired her professional counseling license in 2017*. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy & Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2014. Preceding her master’s, she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University. She has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Kate has previously worked in the community mental health setting, in a university counseling department,
and in a private practice group.
Wanting to take a more client-focused approach to treatment, Kate founded KMC Counseling in 2022. KMC Counseling provides a direct line of communication between the therapist and the client, ensuring the best possible connection throughout the treatment process.
Kate values spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. She seeks to follow Christ and feels called to walk alongside those who are suffering, saying “I dealt with my own emotional struggles in the past and that's when I had my first experience with therapy. I feel led to help others who are struggling with emotional and life issues.“
Her favorite Bible verse is John 16:33:
“In the world, you will have tribulation.
But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
