  • KMC Counseling is faith-based in its foundation and is available to offer clients EITHER a spiritual perspective OR a more secular approach (whatever your personal preference).

    The goal is always to meet you wherever you are and communicate with you through the most effective language possible, and only you know which way that will go…for you.

    Whatever your answer is, I’m here to listen and respond from the perspective you decide will work best for you…just let me know if you feel strongly one way or the other.

  • Currently, KMC does accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield (BCBS), United HealthCare (UHC) and Aetna insurance plans.

    Sliding scale rates are available.

    Superbills are available upon request for out-of-network reimbursement

  • If you don’t have Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), United HealthCare (UHC) or Aetna insurance plans, you can still submit a claim to your insurance company. KMC will provide you with a superbill you can then submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Plans and out-of-network coverages differ so you may not get reimbursed for the full cost of your session. You should reach out to your insurance company beforehand and find out whether or not they reimburse out-of-network providers/superbills.

  • KMC does offer sliding scale rates for those who need a little extra help and don’t have the insurance coverage needed to cover their care. Please reach out directly to see whether you qualify for a sliding scale rate. If you send an email, please remember not to disclose any personal medical information in the email correspondence.

  • If your schedule just doesn’t allow you the time to come into the office for your scheduled sessions, KMC Counseling will bring the sessions to you. You will meet via a web link, this link will be sent to you within 24 hours of your appointment. When it’s time for your session, simply click the link and your therapists will be there waiting for you…wherever you happen to be. It’s safe, convenient, and completely confidential.

  • You may download your intake forms by clicking here. Once you have them completed you can email them back to me. Please send them no less than 24 hours before your scheduled intake. If you choose, you may print them out and bring them with you. If you choose to bring them with you when you arrive for your intake and you plan on filing with insurance, please note I will need some time before the intake begins to verify your coverage.

  • Yes. The parking lot area, as well as the building, are both wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs in the building and all doorways are wide enough to accommodate most wheelchairs. If you have specific questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
